That Night
That Night
My thoughts merged with the chirping of birds.
The Melody they sang.
Swayed the trees in bliss.
The petals glistening with dewdrops,
Shimmered like diamonds in the moon's luminance
Inhaling the scent of the earth
that mingled in slight breezes.
My gaze fell on those brown orbs,
And a sweet realization
Of happiness that solely lies within them
Struck my heart with passion.
Holding her mystic beauty in my hands
We danced in the sweet rhythms of our heart
Few steps steered those dance moves.
Binding souls for eternities
The sky showered our sacred love
With a burst of beautiful rains.
Like a free spirit,
We opened those arms
Welcoming the holy blessings
And clasped them on our mortal frames.
Your little fears of thunders,
Gifted me with those embraces
And heavy breaths
Combined with love and shyness
Thus,
At least for a moment,
My little fantasy of holding you,
Under the moonlight
Came true on that rainy night
