Heavy
Heavy
This heaviness burns inside my heart like forest fire
Amidst the ashes still stands a green desire.
To find the one i want to sit beside under this shade
To put my head on her lap and wake up to her face every day.
The roots of my hopes runs deep into the past
When an anxious boy was still a child wanting a happiness to last.
A child who saw his parents fall out of each other,
Who decided to treat his one, like he wished father treated his mother.
Who spent his childhood feeling lonely
To lov
e, to be loved was his wish only.
What do i do with these giddy thoughts?
Why in my dreams, you're the one i sought.
And to go away from you if i decide
My will is broken by your innocent smile.
Falling for you is not an option
It's something my heart did of its own volition.
So here i am in this room bearing your name
The walls of which are love stained,
Furnished with my hopes and feelings
And a locked door barring your entry.
The lock, this cruel reality.
