When you think of the first time,

So many thoughts come to mind,

Letting them flow freely without a bind,

Watch out, you never know what you find!!

Should I write about my first fancy dress competition?

Or about my first assignment submission?

Should I write about my first job and designations?

Or about my first time quitting or resignation?

Should I write about my first crush or love?

Or about the breakup and divorce learning curve?

Should I speak about my first time of menstruation?

Or should I speak about the first-time facing rejection?

Should I speak about the first mistakes?

Or about what was lost at the first stakes?

Should I write about the first time I saw you?

Or about the first time I really hated you?

In this series of things and the firsts,

There will be a lot of firsts, that hurts,

The ones that were really really bad,

Even now making you angry or sad!

The contradictions in the firsts are really funny,

But hey, maybe that’s how it should be,

Life is a series of contrasts, highs and lows,
