Meetings, Meetings, Greetings!

Seeing a loved one after a long time,

its so much fun, the familiar scent,

the habits, the quirks, the flaws, the pain,

the happy moments - the ones you don't want to end.

rekindling old memories, regaling old stories!!!

Yet, nothing is as what it seems.

yet the bond doesn't weaken,

no matter why he/she left,

some things are just as you left!!!

The clothes in the bucket,

no one to pick up, fold or tuck it,

The pooja oil spills and old books,

the ink stains and burnt stools.

the handwriting and the poems,

Awesome to the Ho-hums,

The missing alphabets, the strange misses

that only you can spot with ease!!!

why are you being such a tease,

comeback again to me please, as if!!!

Let me see your smiling face,

cause you never know if we meet again,

but if we do, hope you change, grow, not be the same one.
