Vacation On LOC

I’ve been waiting for the vacation

Waiting eagerly when blizzards chill my bones...white and pristine...

I have been waiting for a walk down the muddy path,

A walk I could have taken with my eyes closed,

A walk that would take me to your home

A humble mud hut, thatched roof and a small courtyard

I have been waiting to see you there, lost in reverie

Your eyes half closed, holding a book in your limp hands.

I know what you are thinking about.

I have been waiting for the vacation

Standing alert across the LOC....

Then suddenly a splash of light and a sharp pain....

I heard the distant rumble after sometime...

It’s not easy to breathe....so high up on the mountains, the blizzard, the pain...

I have been waiting for the vacation.......

A very long vacation was waiting for me....

To take me far away from you...for ever....
