Unveiled- Hypocrisy In Us
Unveiled- Hypocrisy In Us

“Stop giving values and deciding worth; stop playing God.”
I do not know what is in the afterlife,
Or if I am really alive and not just trying to survive.
And you do not know what's beyond life,
Or for what you strive for and surely not why you're alive.
Hastily judging, nastily glaring,
angrily shouting, and brutally killing.
Loves praying and loves preying.
Ourselves breaching our preaching.
“I long for a place to belong-
A place where the heart is at ease.
I long for a place to belong-
A place wherein ex
ists long-lasting peace.”
So we say, but all of us indulge in gore,
and every nation ready to wage war.
The speck in our own eyes unseen,
Only the speck in someone’s eye is seen.
And we say they pretend, but all of us pretend.
We pretend and in pretense, we end.
Because in pretense you do not ascend,
As we simply pretend in order to blend.
We are with defects, we are not perfect.
As we are not perfect, we connect to overcome our defects,
(But when we connect we inject our defects)
But soon reject them, the reason - they are imperfect.
