The Wait
The Wait
Sometimes I just wait,
You are always late,
You know how much I hate,
Standing for hours on the gate.
So that day, I did wait,
Didn't know what was the plan of fate.
With angry in my head, kept calling,
Every passing second, my patience kept falling.
Wanted to question you a million time,
As if you were caught doing some crime.
Questions are still in my mind,
But you, where do I find.
Years have gone by, the gate has lost its color,
The wait has now got duller.
My mind is tired of telling my heart,
The thought of not seeing you ever again hits like a dart.
