The Stranger
The Stranger
Everyone was a stranger once.
Isn't that the truth?
Think of the new mom, a novice,
Listening to her new born's coos.
They both met each other
For the very first time.
Only to form a bond like no other,
Choicest example of love divine.
Yet the mom teaches her child
To stay away from strangers.
Too afraid of her little heart,
Encountering unforeseen dangers.
And yet all of us,
At some point or the other,
Take our chances, have our crush,
Only hoping for a happy ever after!
Not everyone succeeds though,
In forming a bond with a hitherto unknown.
Maybe it's better to go slow,
Than giving it all and ending up alone!
