Desire
Desire
Careless whispers,
Endless kisses!
Playing the charmed,
So enchanted!
A moment forever,
It was now or never,
Let the lips sway,
Let the shadows play!
The young night was witness,
To the madness in the senses,
To the bated breaths,
To the warm embrace.
They tossed and turned,
And more they yearned.
The pain and pleasure!
The pinnacle of desire!
Yet between all of these,
Love was hoping for release,
As it suffocated much!
Their understanding was such!
Lust could not replace love,
For love was way above,
In stature and feel!
Thus lust had to kneel!
And so the saga ended!
Not one heart was mended.
Nobody gave a thought,
About what the poor hearts lost!
