Your Friend
Your Friend
Once I wanted to be your friend.
No matter the odds against,
Hell-bent on being by your side.
Until it became all too succinct,
That the knife had got too far inside.
Too swiftly it did.
There was no blood visible.
But the gash was deep indeed,
And the pain unbearable.
There was no visible scar.
But every innocent heart could see
Clear as crystal, from afar!
What you had done to me!
