The Sea and the Shore
The Sea and the Shore
The tale, as old as it fades
New to the core.
Wild, unapologetic and naked
The story goes;
As is she.
Her depth
Dissolved in darkness
Unknown to any,
Found the shore.
Depth crushed to waves
Found both tasted of salt.
The Shore, bit by bit
Drenched and drowned
The Sea, wave by wave
Dissolved in the salt.
Fondness turn bitter!
As more and more salt brew;
And heavier they grew:
Towards and apart from each other.
Alas! rumors say
The sea itches
Now, as it lingers
Near the shore.
Salt burns each other
Later silence of the waves
Sounded of slow weep
Everytime it touches the shore
Once called home.
So child, that how the story goes
Of the Sea and the Shore.
