The Room
The Room
I lived in a room vintage and old,
Onto which my ancestors had hold.
It's near the beach I adore,
And holds every memory I bore.
The room has everything I desired,
Here, are the greatest skills I have acquired.
But always had I thought,
What outside this place have we got?
I had gathered the will to explore,
My alacrity grey more and more.
So one day I set off to see the world,
And said goodbye to the room in which everything I learned.
The place was empty and it would be,
There would now live nobody.
'Cause I left the room behind,
For a new life, I could find.
