And Then, I Finally Realised.

I was living in a world of dark and cold

Where there was nothing to hold.

Didn't know if there would be any way,

Doubted if I could ever see the day.

I gave up what I used to be

And didn't know if I could ever again be me.

Everywhere felt like it was nowhere

And life suddenly felt like a simple thing I couldn't bear.

It was then that I thought I saw the light

And escape from my dark mysterious nights

And see a bigger picture through my eyes

And find the light that once made me shine.

And then, I finally realised.

What have I done with my life?

Pierced my soul with a knife,

Died finding something that would set me free,

But didn't realise it was there right in front of me.
