Losing You

You left me for someone else,

Broke my heart and not even the memory of yours dwells.

You left me there, betrayed.

In that vast, empty, dark, gloomy glade.

It hurts to see you change so fast

And who knew that moment of ours will be the last,

But who am I to stop you

From leaving before I can see the next dew.

At first it feels so hard to move away,

But life's got many different paths and ways.

I must leave this one and move on

And face the truth that you are now forever gone.

I will miss the moments I spent with you,

I will miss them both old and new,

But people tend to last a time very few

And once they leave, life just becomes dark and blue.
