The depths of the blue moist swell
That engulfs the sweating tiredness
On its return from the sandy shores of the society of broken shells
And futile sandcastles pushes hard.
The manipulative glittering clothes
Must be changed and grime and facades
Washed away in the oceanic surge
That pervades the tainted fatigued soul
As the lonely apartment door
Is opened after daylong toil and masquerades.
The overwhelming ocean blues propel me to the slice of sky
Hidden in the innermost room, away from
The prying neighbors,
Whatsapp, Facebook, insta, twitter,
The curtains drawn, the vapor swells
The ocean blends in the endless sky.
Far above the false concerns,
smiles and thousand negotiations
Like faked orgasms of a fallen soul
In the market of the world.
I light a candle on the pulpit
The flickering fire in a blue dark room
Burns the pain of daily sale
Of conscience, knowledge, heart, and soul.
The flicker becomes a burning sun
In the roomful of the boundless sky
Moist with ocean bathing a soiled
Penitent fatigued professional.
The recluse breathes in depths of prayers
With paltry social skills in stock
The fiery sun, the sky, the sea
My salvation from the holocaust.
