 [ ...For lone invisible years,

I had been with a snake...

It didn’t leave me... 

I didn't leave it either... 

We hadn’t chased each other... 

It came and went often...


One day, 

I tried to tie it around my nude neck

Like a tie...

When it slipped off away... 

The other day ...

I tried to curl it up 

Around my nudity...

I slipped off away...


To a distance

From where I could

Talk of sex.


It remained like a symbol

Silent but expressive.


We had each other 

In and within 

But never left ]
