Time To Shine

Sweeping the memory lane of my heart,

I found a lost key to my soul,

With a present wrapped with caution,

'Never open'

 

With curiosity, making my heart ready,

I starting unwrapping it,

Heart pumped differently, saying,

'Not again'

I was helpless but excited,

Wrapping every single layer,

I saw myself welcoming me,

'Hi anonymous'

Quite shocked with those words,

Eager to know the reason,

I questioned with doubt,

'Am I different now?'

'Seasons have to change',

Replied my gift with a warming smile,

Hidden inside are the past memories,

Introducing new me to the old me

'Flowers bloom without regret',

Quoted my heart, making me understand,

What I did wasn't fault,

Always there is hope alive, 

'Loving is fine, it deepens your heart',

Advised me with the snaps of old memories,

Happy girl with a scarless heart,

Now A girl with a heart made of scars,

'A heart once loved, once ached, will thrive until the best is achieved'

Being the same again is like adding white to the milk,

Been a rainbow, now time to be like a star,

Caressed my heart with the words,

'Time to shine'
