The Year 2020

Full of hopes,

The year started,

With wishes and goals,

Trying to find peace in our souls,

Everything is sorted,

Until our life wobbled between tiny ropes

For the very first time,

People are yearning to be negative,

In test cases of pandemic disease,

And Social distancing is prime,

While not following is a crime, 

Unexpected attacks of locust,

The dangerous leak of gases, Plane crash, Crashed the hearts of people,

The world's economy is going down,

er hand, riots reaching peaks,

News of Companies frozen hiring,

Freezes the unemployed with a chill in the spine

People witnessed only money won't bring happiness,

Running for life,

Everyone started praying for the unknowns,

Doctors, nurses, police officers, politicians, cleaners defined humanity, 

Amidst this many chaoses,

We got the opportunity to think about our life,

Lockdown may be locked us,

But freed our minds

It taught a lesson, 'Be grateful for whatever you have'
