A Dream
A Dream

I dream of a place where fairy tails come alive
where I’m three feet tall but I’m actually twenty-five
wherewith a wiz of a wand, and some slime of a slug
I can turn all evils of the world into a rusty old rug
I dream of a place where many people don’t exist
living with a dog and a cat, there’s nothing in life you’ve missed
where tears don’t drown your face and sadness your mind
I can forget about my troubles, and live in a beautiful world I designed
I dream of a place, where falling doesn’t hurt
And after dinner, you get triple the dessert
Wherewith some music I play or some dust that I sprinkle
I can even make the dullest eyes in the universe twinkle
I dream of a place, where you can never fail
And your heart never has the chance to sit and wail
Where it’s easy to sometimes just forget
Where everything fine, no problem is a threat
I dream of a place which. makes life a long movie
Where you can puke out rainbows, wouldn’t it be groovy?
Wherewith some dance that I do or the clothes I wear
I can turn a nasty little girl, into a raging bear.
