My Fairy Tale
My Fairy Tale

My eyes wide open, and tears flowing out
And my mother standing in awe, wondering what it is all about
He stood on the edge, preparing for the battle of his life
With lives tossed around and caught in a strife
He lifted his arm, then slewed them all and
When he won, he took his Cinderella to the lovely Camelot ball
Overwhelmed by it all, I cried all night
I couldn’t believe the magic in moonlight
How he walked across bridges and ran along the rocks
How lovely he dressed, and how he fought like a fox
Words for him danced on my lips, and thoughts were scattered around
Couldn’t quite place my finger on what I meant,
The climax of it all just left me astound
And when the sun rose, and m
y pencil intertwined with my thoughts
The story in my mind, tied my own stomach in knots
So I quickly jotted it down before someone could really see
The great story of Snow and the fabulous three
I felt satisfied, getting it out of my head
Except it didn’t disappear, over and over I read
Editing and changing the words I found wrong
Annotating and making better made me and my characters strong
Finally I think I, I was surprisingly ready
I was gonna win the race slow and steady
Writing down these words, for me now shape each day
Some stories with adventure and Clara’s life in doomsday
Others rhyming together, outlining the destiny of the gold run
For all the people who enjoy it, for every single one
