All Wrong

They think I do it for attention 

Because it’s easy to sway these days 

They think it’s pretension 

Because I’m impotent and this is just a phase

They say,  I’m incapable, 

That I run after the wrong things 

They say this is generational 

That I’m taking advantage of my newfound wings 

That I’m always trying to be someone I’m not 

Because I’m acting like so much but I’m not as strong 

That I focus on the fame and never the thought 

But maybe, for once, they got me all wrong.
