The Resolute Fighter

Hail the resolute fighters who never give up,

Though others may clog their path with their created obstacles,

They know that there are no villains in life,

Only spiritual beings who are still learning the ropes.

They know that however vile, every grownup

Is carbon still being fashioned into a diamond-like spectacle.

They know that all challenges and strife,

Are merely steps to be overcome and never lose hope.

Though all their miseries may always pile up,

With detractors sticking to them like barnacles.

They use the negative criticism showered on them as knives,

Like trampolines to reach the stars they saw through their telescope.

 

Nevertheless, they never hesitate to sacrifice and step up,

Even for those who needlessly kept them in manacles.

Their valor bleeds red as much as the sharpest knife, 

Tales of sacrifice and selflessness beyond all scope.

As it always has been and deservingly will forever be, stand up

And salute the army, the warriors and all frontline personnel.

Still, also salute the oppressed, the women, the mothers and wives,

A billion untold stories that keep our flag flying high.
