Who were the people who started it all?

Look what a mess it has become now.

Some call it their duty and some, their birthright

But actually, it’s just an excuse to start another fight.

Very right was John Lenon in his song ‘Imagine’

World peace has only become an unfulfilled notion.

I hopelessly stare at the ceiling in the dark.

The sheets of justice remain tied in a knot, my heart is like a rock.

God has not sent us with a tag on our bodies

And no human either has any right to define our identity.

Then why follow the herd blindly?

Why let others commend you on your belief?

People try to make us understand God.

Do they even have an idea about themselves?

The world is already headed towards World War III

This issue is just adding to the storm.

It is very easy for everyone to get brainwashed.

Many books have been written on this very topic

To try to reach a conclusion and figure out a solution.

Daoism, Maoism, Buddhism, Jainism to name a few

However, the list is endless and people keep adding what’s new.

There is no respite from this confusion at all

Unless maybe, you think of something to make it stop.

Maybe we know that maybe it’s time for miracles

Because I’m not going to give up on love.

Religion should be replaced with love.

Then it’ll be apt to use the peace symbol with the dove.

But one major thing that is required is unity.

That will lead us to a better affinity.
