A Bilief to Overcome

It seems like it were yesterday 

When we sat to sip our regular tea

We spoke of the daily affairs 

Before napping peacefully 

Another day came up

The Sun was burning so bright 

We freshened-up, switched to the headlines

They brought emotions to the surface: anxieties and fright

Death was playing 'hide and seek'

With people around the globe

Humanity was far away

From sighs of relief

All we could hold on to was hope

That is how the days were passing by

For some, it was a deadly struggle

While others continued passing remarks so sly

Immense negativity, not just virus in the air

We need to shield the surroundings 

With our prayers and care

To overcome from dullness and despair

Let us delay no more;

Join our hands towards this task so pure

Smile with faith in our cores

And the almighty will surely come forth!
