Daughters- A Curse?

Daughters- A Curse?

In a country of deities, she was born,

Filled their heart with elevation.

"Oh my talisman", her mother exclaimed,

"Live long my little girl", her father rejoiced.

Having a straight sharp mind,

She excelled in her studies.

Her leadership qualities added to her shine,

Making a special space in everyone's heart.

Held her parent's ambitions high,

Faced every challenge with great valor,

Making her makers quotidianly proud.

Who said having a daughter was a curse.

She substantiated the myth wrong with every deed.

Holding big ambitions in her head,

Headed her way towards the city of dreams,

For playing her stake for a better future.

Her makers did the best they could,

And implored for her well-being,

While heading her steps on this path,

"Of dreams".

Yet another day of her struggle,

On her way back home from her internship program,

On a dark road,

Which only witnessed some rays of street lights.

The devils of Satan set their spiteful eyes,

On the primary soul.

In an urge to save herself from the red eyes,

She ran to bail herself out of the threat.

Jinx, the homicidal men,

Caught her during the run.

Abducted the heavenly divine soul of the goddess,

Just for the matter of lust.

Earth cried,

Souls shivered, with the breaking ambitions,

Of the angelic spirit.

Land regretted her helplessness,

And blunder of nourishing these ignoble souls.

On the holy land of the divine deities,

The felony was executed.

Sky sniveled for the scratched soul,

The "Mother"-nature mortified for the sinner.

The makers broke apart,

Repenting on their decision,

To launch her to catch her dreams.

Now the scratched fought for a living,

Again showcased her valor,

But this time, "She lost".

She lost from the overpowering wicked,

She lost her race from 'Anubis',

Left this iffy world,

And departed for heaven,

And gave a strong slam.

Maybe the world got the definition,

Having a daughter is a boon,

But the civilization of such is an expletive,

Not only for the victim,

But for the whole of humanity.
