Taps That Take You

Unlike requests of never letting go,

Besides the heartaches that were bordered by pillows,

One tap and it fell with a blow,

You could have never guessed the smiles that unload,

Hoping that it tinkles far, far away,

And I could not ever get anyone else to show,

Because now I know it well and clearly in front of me lay,

I cannot fit into the bubble with whom I was so fond of play,

So I tap you once and I tap you twice,

Once you embarrass me and twice to my sorrows you suffice,

Now novels unhinge me of the truths but I remember,

Tales were read to me and not the solace of lies,

Safeguard the innocence oh the little lad in me!



And do not leave with the toys and butterflies' imagery,

Makes me proud the childish simpers and how is its flee,

So the rule that was unbecoming & you had to appear grown,

You promise to contain him deep the glow of the child, to feel atone.
