Lost Rule
Lost Rule
So the waves were the sea,
In you of me, of doubt to see.
Loose ends & offbeat keys,
Distempered to fall in light's pleas.
Flinched in flames they be,
Clinched each mind's forfeit.
As they sought freedom under the fight,
Underneath brilliance of the wright.
Him, he hid more in the share,
A trip from now & then & back to lair.
Souled of the mutiny alone,
Sold off the dignity never to moan.
And the tests were taken,
To find yourself strange & shaken.
As I went on to be a superhero in my life,
You sat behind in my heart & steered might.
