The Real Me
The Real Me2 mins 333 2 mins 333
Do you want to wander with me?
The blank canvas urged my mind,
Excited said I, 'Yes, I have hues.'
Then splash them all on this white stand.
I tried to fill colors so bright and blue
Little did I think I had so many hidden hues.
Where were they? I wondered and questioned.
'I was here.' said she. 'You did not listen.'
'Who are you? Where are you? I can't see.'
'How could you? ' You were as busy as a bee.'
I am the real 'You'.
Could you spend some time with me?
I am honored to be with you indeed
I am sure you would be a better company.
But no time you see…
'Ugh! Not again,' said she.
Excuses! Excuses! Will lead you nowhere,
You can't be only working without time to spare.
Oh my dear! To thee I care.
Come out, come on, live your life,
Do not waste and worry.
Today, once gone, never comes back,
For I fear you will regret when you look back.
You smile and hide your woes,
Can't I see what you long?
Lend me your hand,
Trust me I will take you to wonderland.
Enough sacrifices you made for them,
Now live your life to the fullest.
Fill in the canvas with what you want,
Leave it to 'HIM', and say 'Amen.'
