The Rain

"Let the child in you live"

In torrential rain, 

when the clouds roar,

pouring from the sky,

the rain, drumming on the rooftops,

dancing to the tip,

the nature sways 

enjoying the rain. 

Little children, running around,

flip flop, flip flop,

splashing sound of water, 

drenched in water, 

paper boats sailing in pond water.

Laughing and giggling,

unaware of happenings,

their life goes on. 

These innocent souls, 

wandering around,

living the fullest of their life. 

Not worried about disaster,

flooding water, into houses, 

their only aim is playing and laughter.

Learn from them,

be happy, forget pain,

for there will be a rainbow again. 

Tomorrow's sun will rise,
