School life
School life
Tender age, innocence phase
I ran hither, and thither, to chase,
a doll a ball, and others to enthrall,
Knowing nothing of tomorrow's
worry,
never in a hurry.
Those were my wonderful school days.
Books and pens, scrubbers and rubbers,
borrowing, lending a part of growing up,
an adolescent growing, in teens.
Plucking flowers and fruits,
Yet a teacher's pet.!
Lost in fairy tales, but
never did I fail.
Studies and games went hand in hand.
Friends and siblings, my fellow men in my journey.
A lot to learn, from educators.
preparing us for later.
Values imbibed, not only letters.
Creativities groomed,
Life bloomed.
Our School days give us a platform.
to build our future,
Not knowing when we grew up,
I stared at my bag.
Now lying on my table, weeping,
saying, don't leave me.
My doll, my books,
gently reminding me please don't
leave us alone.
I just hugged them,
for those were my treasures,
and I play with them in leisure.
