Solitude
Solitude
In growing cities,
In hustle and bustle,
Not a space to breathe,
No place to stretch.
Overcrowded homes ,
Flooded markets and streets.
but want of solace
We yearn to rest.
Power and money,
raining on people, hungry
of Fame.
Yet want of food and shelter, some remain hungry, all the same.
Lack of sleep, in plenty of everything,
More and more, in the sea of wealth,
resulting in deterioration of health.
Big Dreams, a racing track for youth,
Some lose some win,
Drowning the aspiring booth.
Remaining unknown in a multitude of bodies,
Not a friend in the swarm of faces.
Life is searching for any familiar buddy
Not one in a throng of races.
In this humdrum of life
Mind is searching for Solitude, for peace.
