Depression
Oh! Depression!
You dare not come hither!
You target weakling, wrecking their lives,
stealing their peace,
they are longing for Bliss.
They fight with all their might with you.
Some succumb to suicide,
for their fears they can't hide.
Dejected at their failure, in studies, in life.
Some face poverty,
Some have excess,
they know not how to value,
how to rise.
But -
To tackle you I know how,
'Be close to nature,
The Dawn, the morning mist,
the birds chatter, the koels cooing enhances subdued mood.
The children's laughter brings back the life in you.
Be social, be helpful
to needy one.
Spending time with your loved ones, near and dear ones.
There are many ways, many reasons to live.
For, life is precious,
All these gems are to fight with you Depression.
So, you dare not come hither. '
