Meant to hurt,

Scattered words 

Meant to heal,

Scattered words 

Meant to please,

Scattered by the wind 

Supposed to ease.


Scattered words

Thrown to the winds 

Doesn't make amends,

So to speak! 

Careless whispers,

Do disperse,

Careless thoughts,

Insincerity wrought

That Anyone would know!


But thoughtful words 

Voiced with love,

Is by far more dear 

Than scattered words!

The tears that fall 

Will be happy ones,

Than the dreaded ones!
