The Deluge
The Deluge
The Deluge
The deluge was real ,
Restless water ,
Bobbed up and down ,
Flooding the land ,
Biting off trees
And leaving lone branches ,
Struggling to stay afloat!
The cold breeze,
Did sneeze,.
Over greenery,
Leaving shrubbery,
Dry and battered,
In a haze!
A bald eagle alighted
On a driftwood,
Surveying the scene!
Still and cold,
The air did fold
Around her,
Fluffing her feathers
Trying to dislodge her!
Barren waters ,
Bald eagle,
Nothing to break the silence,
Except the restless
Water,
Trying to decide,
Which way to go !
Nature at its best
Nature not at rest!
Everything became nothing,
Just as the Lord had said!
"Don't take it literally,"
The Master said,
It's not like losing hope
To be in despair!
When you know this is an illusion,
A confusion of sorts ,
That distorts
The Truth,
Let it flow away ,
Find the peace
In aloneness ,
You have the prowess ,
To just Be .
"Everything is nothing" !
