Under A Sky Full of Stars

Under a sky full of stars,

The dark night of the soul 

Found a twinkling of hope,

Blinking,

Like a faraway lighthouse,

Sweeping the skies,

Like a beacon 

Helping me find my way home.

Dusting off 

The ennui,

The self-inflicted perjury,

Tears of translucent mercury,

Hastily brushed away 

Never again in a quandry,

Which way to meander through! 

Twinkling stars,

So near

Yet so far,

 Reflected in my eyes,

Shinning through the fears,

Through blinding tears,

I knew then,

It made sense! 

As above,

So below,

Was going with the flow,

Till the glow 

Shone so bright,

That it was no longer a dark night,

And that it was alright 

To die, 

So that I could 

Find myself again,

In that silence,

In that space,

Where nothing exists,

Yet everything is!
