'A Contest of Words and Knowledge'

High class, low class,

Men and Women, young and Old,

Of all levels were invited to face the challenge.

She was frail, she was timid,

Her frizzy hair, her sunken eyes,

With tattered clothes,

With bare feet,

She entered the arena,

With all her might.

She was stopped, she was checked at the gate,

Yet she was determined to

Face her fate!

No one knew who she was,

Nor did they learn from where

She hailed.

On an empty stomach,

She dares to give it a try.

She was refused entry, based on her looks, and her appearance.

They all laughed, they all jeered,

Was targeted with their words.

But she did not budge.

The Contest of Words and Knowledge.

The arena is surrounded by seers,

All wondered why this girl was

Here.

She blinked, she smiled, but permission was denied.

Then came a sage forward, her Savior.

He offered her, a drink, and some food.

Requesting the authority to let her in.

She entered the arena.

The war of words began.

One by one each contestant lost.

All were amazed at her Wisdom, her knowledge.

It was the last round of Words, the fight was fierce.

All conspiring to pin her down.

Her Savior appeared, he blessed her,

Restoring her faith in her Words.

She stood there, firm and bold.

With twinkling eyes,

With the sweetest smile, she faced every arrow of words thrown at her,

But none could defeat her.

She Won.

Invincible she proved.
