Winter Evening Outdoors
Winter Evening Outdoors
The winter evening falls like a blanket of snow,
Covering the world with a chilly glow,
The air is crisp, the wind is biting,
Yet the beauty of it all is so inviting.
The trees are bare, their branches stark,
Against the darkening sky, so deep and dark,
The moon is bright, shining up above,
A beacon of hope, a sign of love.
The stars twinkle, like diamonds in the sky,
Their light so bright, it makes us sigh,
We wrap our coats, and scarf around,
And listen to the silence, so profound.
We take a deep breath, and feel the chill,
The winter evening is so still,
Yet we feel so alive, so at peace,
As the world around us begins to freeze.
The snowflakes fall, like feathers from the sky,
They land so softly, we can't help but sigh,
The winter evening outdoors, so serene,
Is a beautiful sight, like nothing we've seen.
