Time Travel
Time Travel
If I had the keys of Time,
I would love to travel back in 'Time'.
I would love to join 'The Bandwagon of Teens ' ,
for that was the time to Dream.
I grew up with dolls,
playing bat and ball,
with my siblings and pals.
Reading books and comics,
of Betty and Archie,
dressing and blushing in front of the mirror,
being mischievous, naughty,
never haughty.
Not aware of wars and terrors.
Living each day in the Parental Umbrella shade,
for we knew, to harm us, no one would dare.
Life was fun then.
No Wisdom, no knowledge,.
the slate of my mind, clean
and blank,
like a plank.
'Innocence 'was our currency,
we knew not anything of money.
We were out in the sun,
rain, and mud,
nothing stopped us from meeting our friends.
Revealing little secrets,
of stealing pens and toffees,
was all we could dare to share.
My Teen days were joyous and fun.
Time today
are horrifying days,
full of stress for teens.
The Desktop, The Laptop,
has seized their Innocence, and upper top.
Leaving them wondering,
where to begin.
They are robbed of their
Nature's touch,
locked in boxes of Knowledge and Sum.
Dream they know not
true Teen life they Live not.
Babies soon grow into adults,
bypassing the Teen Age fun.
My prayers to Lord,
Let them Live the way we lived.
For Teen Age is the only Time to DREAM.
