Rocky Space Ride

Wanted to be a planet, all in vain. If it were size that all it matters, why ain’t I?

Big brother’s close too, planetoids they call him. 

Wonder if my belt fits well, Jupiter’s huge and Saturn’s rings, guess I know all the stories between them, as far as my sight could go.

I feel relaxed and refreshed, with my cousins around the parallel ring next to me, Trojans, as I know them.

Ah, well! He looks dark red, but is smart, he meets with the planet Jupiter often than I do. They share a ring together, some say, they orbit together. 

I have distant relatives too, comets and meteorite. How could I forget them? I find both to the clans too close. 

Comets are dusty and ice-y, I have a binding for them. Meteorites, a sublime part of me, and comets too. But, they are small, less than a meter in radius.

Wish these humans had classified us differently, they have their ways that we didn't ask for. Meteorites with carbon rich families are of the C-type, the metallic ones are M-type. The others are S-type, probably because they are stony.
