If I Had Never Been Born

If I had never been born,

Would things had been different?

If I never was in the story of my life,

Would the story, somehow, had still been present?

If I was never there to suck milk from her breasts,

Would mumma had felt a void in her heart?

If I was never born to get pressed to his chest,

Would papa had held a different princess in his arms?

Would his wallet still be full of love letters,

Written in a struggle to get the words to make sense?

Would they still be feeling blessed without me,

If they had never kissed me on my head?

Would my brother spend his days laughing and playing,

If he had never kissed my face,

Would he still be as happy as he is now,

If he had a different partner in crime in my place?

All those fun and happiness,

And all those lovely days,

Would they still be as lovely without me?

If there was someone else in my place.

Would the boy who loves me so dearly,

Still say that for him I am the only one?

Or I would see him grow old, happily, without me,

loving, with all his heart, a different girl.

Would he feel me missing from his life?

or would he never even know?

If I was never born to hold his hands,

every time he had felt low.

Would all my loved ones around me,

notice if I was never born,

Would things be a little better(or worse) in their lives?

If I had died before I was formed.

So if I go away someday,

never cry that I am gone,

for Life will move on anyway,

and like a distant dream,one day you'll feel,

as if I had never been born.
