The Haunted Mirror

The Haunted Mirror

It was three at midnight,

There was a little sight of light,

I stood and watched myself in the mirror,

Surprisingly, everything appeared nearer.

I touched my image with bare hands,

Which could be seen just like strands,

Suddenly something pulled me inside a town,

The things turned upside down.

Dark and lone,

I guess it was dawn,

I sprinted away from there,

I couldn't find people anywhere.

The streets empty as I walk,

There was no life to talk about.

I wandered for everywhere around,

There was no one to surround.

Searched for family,

I sensed abnormality,

I cried and wept,

Terror and fear I felt.

I heard some noise,

It was no mortal voice,

The land below me and the trees started to move near me,

I fell down with scars on my knee.

Trembling with fear,

I prayed someone to hear.

Then, "Get up it's late" I heard

My eyes were swollen as I opened apart.

Every article on its place,

With sweat around my face,

I realized it was a nightmare,

Who captured my soul in slumber.
