The weird night
The weird night
Tossing and turning in my bed,
Remembering what my granny said.
The eerie light beaming through the creek,
I raised my head to take a peek.
I saw a shadow weeping in the trees,
I was scared and shivered my knees.
Closing the curtain I fell on my back,
Think out loud, I heard a crack.
My heart beating fast, I went to look,
Just to find a dusty old book.
Which read the great rook,
Reading that I was shook,
That I ran back to my room.
Panting and sweating I stood behind the door,
And soon I heard footsteps on the floor.
The door opened and to my surprise,
It was my granny swatting flies.
