The Damsel And The Duck

Lost in the woods,

the damsel and the duck,

in the dark night,

could not sight their way.

Lone were these two,

yet not afraid, for 

their rescue came the lightening.

She was singing, humming songs,

the little duck waddling, 

shaking,

the damsel laughing, giggling,

treading the path joyously. 

Life is, a long road, 

many challenges, many nights,

faith in God, faith in self. 

Thunder, lightening and dark

nights,

 could be overcome, could be fought,

if only you are willing,

the failure is naught.
