The Blessing In Disguise
The Blessing In Disguise
The numbness stunning the senses,
The trauma eating up the brains.
He might not fight all the sufferings that he face,
But no matter what, he will keep up the pace.
The sufferings, the aches, he feels in the core
The pains in his holy soul.
He might not surely win in the chase
But those dreams, he will always embrace.
The dreams he saw in that glittery eye
The dreams he could never deny.
He might not survive the brave fight that he fought
But again, the future, was all that he thought
The future to whose fulfillment he swore,
The dreams that are worth dying for.
He has no desires, no fantasies to be fulfilled
But has a son, a child, whose dreams can not be killed
The child with those dreams of a happy life
The Father who would live on the tip of the knife.
His father, the man who wouldn't care if he dies.
His well wisher, the man with whom the future lies.
