He sat on his chair by the fire,

Looking through those photos.


How much he'd changed, and how much he missed her.

Her soft, beautiful smile and the light in her eyes was some thing he'd never forget.

He was old now, and his dying wish was to see his wife one last time..


Day after day, he sat by the fire and looked at the tattered but loved album.

His wife was with him through thick and thin but now she lay covered in flowers.

She now lived forever in the tattered album and in his dying heart.


Days later, he was found sitting by the fire with the album on his lap, his posture lifeless.

The picture was taken on his wedding day.

They were together once again forever in that moment, in that old tattered but loved album.
