Epiphany
Epiphany
As I sat by the dying amber of a fire,
I cherished the last bit of heat that coursed through my
body.
And at that moment, I realized that everything, beautiful
or painful comes to an end.
For without an end, there is no beginning, there are two
sides of a coin.
As the fire died, I walked through the woods, on an
endless path and I could see new life blooming.
One replaces another, in this endless circle of life.
Every
breath, every smile, every squeal of joy, must be
cherished.
For one day it will all come to an end.
I then took a turn that would take me home.
I felt peace for the first time in life.
It felt like that most of the silence and the serenity of
the moment captivated me.
I heard the euphonious chirping of birds and the rustling
of the leaves.
Alas, another day had to come to an end and I await the
beginning of another.
