Teenage life - 1980s
Teenage life - 1980s
A teenage life lived with great flurry,
Amidst the hills and lush greenery,
I grew up, wild and carefree.
My days were filled with joy and play,
With laughter, all day,
Cycling on the lonely streets
I lived daily with no frown.
Afternoons spent up on the guava tree
That bloomed with fruits on tree
Plucking and eating with glee,
We listened to the tunes of nature's melody.
Summer nights were cool, with stars so bright,
We sat on the stone bench with no light,
Talking about life, love and dreams,
Gazing at the sky, like a team.
Life was simple, yet so grand,
In my native town, my teenage land,
I cherish those days, with all my heart,
A time that will never depart.
