She

 

She would not throw in the towel,

Not now, not in the future,

In her holy crusade against injustice, inequality, and torture.

Her past endeavours to stand tall in the face of disasters,

Has assured this fact in life’s stamp paper.

She is a warrior armoured with the weapons of,

Love, sympathy, patience, perseverance, resilience,

And an undying thirst to ensure her own and her loved one’s fruitful existence.

From time immemorial, she has been fighting against,

The megalomaniac patrons of patriarchy,

To win her rights and to gain equality.

Every time her just demands has been denied,

She has renewed her vow to fight for her rights.

She has grieved for her those sons, 

Who have been brainwashed to stand against her just principles.

She has also grieved for her daughters,

Who have been shackled with prejudice’s tentacles.

Yet she strives to create something beautiful,

Something meaningful out of this total chaos.

She remains a propagator of peace,

Even after suffering personal losses.

The thorny principles of subjugation have recurrently bloodied her feet,

And she has been told that she is too frail, too weak to lead.

In fact, she has been owned, caged, burned, branded, bullied, and belittled,

Yet she arises from the dust every time to turn over a new leaf.
