Scabs And Scars

I do remember I ne'er removed those scabs

Formed where on and off I was mercilessly stabbed

The scabs deftly sealed

And the wounds swiftly healed

But the scars vividly

My heart revealed

These scars are worse

Than the wounds; you know

So now I remove the scabs

And let the wounds show.
