My Friend 'ME'

I met a new friend recently

She has an amazing personality

"What's your good name?" I queried

She looked into my eyes, smiled and said "ME"

"ME" made me see a new me in me

Said, "Never be belittled when right you be,

The flame in you should never die

Because there are lives you can illuminate, tears you can dry."

None gave me such power as did 'ME'

Many times thus quoth she

"Before you love and trust others

Learn to love and trust ME"

'ME' is more honest, more strong than me

"Trust in God",'ME' oft reminds me

'ME' powers me thus and I find a new me in me

'ME' is me dear friends whom I met recently.
